Alhamdulillah. Today, the most valuable lesson i learn is, kita tak bole hanya berguru dengan seorang atau beberape guru sahaja. Tidak boleh juga hanya disebuah tempat dengan suasana cara pengajian yang sama. What we've learnt in our Islamic Universities might not all be the real authentical truth, let alone our madrasahs and mosques. It might even be far from the real truth sometimes. Wal'iyazubillah..
TO FIND THE TRUTH, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO LEARN AND SEEK ILM FROM ALL SORT OF SCHOLARS WITH ALL KINDS OF DIFFERENT VIEWS. You'll just have to. There's no other way. Read and learn, not just from one particular mazhab or scholar, but from each and every one of them. You'll need to know, learn and UNDERSTAND so you can COMPARE. That is, if you REALLY want to find out the TRUTH. This applies ESPECIALLY in our AKIDAH!
Subhanallah! MasyaAllah! Luas sungguh ilmuMu. Allahumma faqqihna fiddeen!
And again, most importantly, after we gain all these knowledge and are already able to compare, never, never ever neglect your PRAYERS. Besides ilm, prayer is one of the most IMPORTANT aspect in searching for the real TRUTH. Pray, pray hard and believe in Him, for He, Allah, is the Only One who is able to give us His taufeeq and hidayah, the Only One who can light us to the right path...
Without Him, just ilm might lead us astray.. Nauzubillah...
Just one, just one out of 73 paths is the real truth..
